Abstract

At a global level, the Covid-19 pandemic will have various repercussions, one of them, teaching methods in higher education (HE), massifying online training. However, the incorporation of information and communication technologies (ICTs) has been growing in recent decades, where economic and administrative sciences (EASc) are no exception. The objective of this work is to characterize the research on ICTs in higher education, with emphasis on the teaching of EASc. For this, a bibliometric analysis was carried out based on journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS), making a parallel on research in the application of ICTs in higher education (general area) and in the specific area of the EASc. The results allowed to detect differences and similarities between the areas. A low scientific production in the area of CEAs was eliminated, opening new study opportunities.
